Recipe of the Month, December: Baked Garlic Camembert

This month's recipe is: Baked camembert! December is all about indulgent and comfy foods and baked camembert is the answer to that!

A picture of a baked camembert with melting cheese coming our of the middle. It is surrounded by rosemary and there is Home Instead branding (including the logo) surrounding the picture of the camembert.

Ingredients for your baked garlic camembert:

-Camembert

-1 bulb of garlic

-Rosemary sprigs

-Parchment paper

-Oil (either vegetable or olive for lightly greasing the parchment)
A choice of your favourite bread!

Method:

💚Step 1: Pre heat your oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7

💚Step 2: Chop your garlic up into chunky strips and pull off the individual rosemary sprigs

💚Step 3: Cut a 5mm deep cross in your camembert.

💚Step 4: Grab your rosemary and garlic and press them down into the camembert so it is half way within the cheese and half way poking out.

💚Step 5: Put your camembert onto an oven tray (one without grids!). Make sure you place it onto some parchment paper that is lightly greased.

💚Step 6: Put the camembert in the oven and leave for 5-10 mins. Make sure you keep checking your camembert in risk of it not outpouring.

💚Step 7: Whilst your camembert is baking, prepare your favourite bread or any other accompaniments for your camembert.

💚Step 8: Take your camembert out of the oven. Your camembert should appear to look gooey in the middle (where the cross section is). if it’s not looking quite as gooey, pop it back in on the same heat for around 3 mins (make sure you keep a constant eye on it!)

💚Step 9: Gather all of your accompaniments and your camembert onto a plate to share with others (or by yourself…)

Enjoy!
