Baschurch Village Fete 2023

On July 8th, Baschurch held its annual fête, and what a day it was! The event was a roaring success, attracting people of all ages to come together! Home Instead took part in the action, and we loved seeing so many faces getting involved with our activities and having a wonderful time.

The fête is an event loved by many, and this year was no different. Against all odds, the sun shone through for most of the day, casting a warm radiance that was shared with the community.

Home Instead had a stand with a variety of games that catered to all ages and abilities, from “follow your nose” to “hook a duck”. Many people came over to get stuck in and show their support.

It was heartwarming to hear from some of our clients and their families during the day, with lovely compliments given to us as well. We loved seeing you there, and we are honoured that you came to say hello!

The event brought together people from all walks of life—both young and old—and provided an opportunity for everybody to get to know each other better. It was a beautiful sight to witness the village coming together and having fun, with everyone participating in one way or another.

The Baschurch Village Fête embodied the spirit of community, and Home Instead is proud to be a part of this warm and caring neighbourhood. We are committed to building strong connections within Baschurch to ensure that everyone receives the care, support, and companionship they deserve.

From everyone here at Home Instead, thank you to all who attended the event: the volunteers who worked tirelessly organizing the fête, those who ran their stalls all day, the four-legged friends that enjoyed plenty of treats, and all the moms and dads who sported unicorn face paint at their child’s request.
