Out in Community

This month Rachael and Caroline were out in the community promoting awareness of Care as a rewarding career. With the advances of medication and society living longer, the need for CAREGivers has never been so high. We also witness this on a daily basis with the number of calls we receive from local authorities trying to source this care. Unfortunately, we are often unable to take on these packages due to lack of capacity. Most people care for others on a daily basis, but don't realise this is care as it comes so naturally to them. We are hoping to show you that if you are naturally caring and compassionate, working in care may be the correct career for you.

We had a great turn out at all of our coffee mornings with some excellent contacts made in the community. We will be looking to hold more next month in Oswestry as well as Shrewsbury and will keep you updated with details of them.

We are also currently welcoming our first group of CAREGivers from these coffee mornings and hope to have them fully trained and ready to make a difference in our community shortly.
