Six reasons to trust us with dementia care

This Dementia Action Week, we wanted to highlight six reasons to trust us with dementia care for your loved ones.

  1. Professional experience

Between us, our office team have decades of experience in supporting people living with dementia. Alongside our fantastic Care Professionals, we’ve delivered well over 60,000 hours of care to clients in the Salisbury and Romsey area since 2019, many of whom have had dementia.

  1. Personal experience

Many of us have had loved ones of our own who’ve lived with dementia, meaning we really do understand what family members are going through as they wrestle with the challenge of a dementia diagnosis for their loved ones.

  1. Dementia training

Our registered manager, Liz, delivers City & Guilds assured dementia training to our Care Professionals. This helps us to ensure that our Care Pros are well equipped to deliver knowledgeable, empathetic care to their clients.

  1. Unrushed visits

Excellent care takes time and this is particularly true when dementia is thrown into the mix. All our calls are a minimum of an hour, which means that our Care Professionals can take things at a pace that’s right for each client.

  1. Continuity of care

We keep the same Care Pros going to the same clients as much as possible to allow strong relationships to be built. For our clients who are affected with dementia, having those familiar faces is especially important.

  1. Community engagement

We’re not only engaged in dementia care—we’re actively involved in community initiatives too, whether that’s our monthly dementia-friendly matinees, the singing group we host in conjunction with ROMDAG, community talks, and more.
