Companionship Care in Ruislip and Harrow

I cannot thank all at Home Instead enough for the help and assistance they have provided in looking after my wife L while she fights with the debilitating disease of dementia.

The office staff are extremely pleasant and efficient and will do their best to meet any requirement, no matter how unusual, or late in the day it may be.

In particular, my grateful thanks to E, L’s carer who offers so much more than just looking after her and keeping her safe.

There have even been times after E has left that L, though not remembering her name, asks where the lady who has been helping her is, and when is she coming back.

This, in itself is progress and I am confident that the ongoing relationship can only be for L’s benefit.

If anyone finds themselves in a similar position, I can highly recommend Home Instead to provide the necessary assistance and comfort in what will be ongoing difficult times.

I need to say a big thank you to your company for everything you have done for us. The respect you have shown to us and your caring nature and cooperation. I was very happy and you were my life line when I was struggling to cope.

We would also like to thank all the Home Instead staff and carers who have looked after mum and dad over the years. You always had their comfort and best interests at heart and were very supportive to us as a family. Thank you all.

Just wanted to share this with you all, D came in to say that F is doing much better and expressed her gratitude for all the support we’ve provided. She mentioned how much she appreciates everything we do for F.

F is now looking forward to planning his 100th birthday! 🎉

My mum receives excellent , professional and friendly care. We are confident that her carers are able to spot any signs of her being unwell, and always raise their concerns to us so that we can take action. They communicate efficiently so that everyone can work together to ensure mums safety and wellbeing. The lunch club has also been a great addition allowing mum to have her own social activities. Thank you everyone.

The manager at Home Instead Ruislip provides an excellent service that allows peace of mind to the Elder receiving the service as well as those family members taking care of the Elder. Reliable and trustworthy, the carers we’ve had have been kind and treat my mother with respect and compassion. I appreciate their willingness to be accommodating for last minute requests. Overall, it’s a pleasure working with the manager and his team.

Dad has really enjoyed meeting Dee and Ash, this week has gone really well. I hope they think so too? I met Ash yesterday, so it was nice to say Hi. They have been excellent with exercises and getting Dad moving for sure, he’s really motivated many thanks to the three of you.

Congratulations on your award. My father and I are very happy and grateful for all that the carer Angela is doing. She has built up a good relationship with my Dad he is relaxed in her company which is what I wanted to achieve. Please let her know this.

I understand that your team will take my Mother to the Christmas lunch and bring her home.

Well done to your team for talking my mother into going. That’s a first!.

I would also like to say a thank you to you and your team for supporting my mother. Keeping an eye on her and going that extra mile to take time to understand her emotional needs. If I could mention Navella as someone who has a good understanding of my mother and your team in Ruislip.

S and I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful care and support from the team for him.

Hayley really is one on a million but as S continues to improve and take back control we are now giving notice to stop the care in one months time.

Looking forward to meeting Sandra and the support while I recover from my eye surgery.

I am for ever grateful for your help and support with both B and S.

K has been a star 🌟 and B is very fond of her and supporting her to get back to normal.

A you really are first class and absolutely at the top of your game; your hints and tips in the early days were invaluable; you also made sure that we had consistency in the team which made a huge difference to B’s mental well being, knowing who was walking through her door has had a very positive impact, thank you, C, V and the gang forever grateful 🙏 for your help and support.

I want to say a big thank you to you, for all you both do.

A is always cheerful, helpful and kind, always on time. Where she finds all her energy astonishes me. It is not an exaggeration to say she has made a difference to my life at a time when I really need help.

My mother, aged 99 has been supported by ‘Home Instead’ over the past few months. The ‘Home Instead’ carers have been of great support in helping Mum remain as independent as possible. The service so far has been responsive, sensitive, consistent and flexible and I feel reassured that a bespoke package of care would be delivered to meet any change in Mum’s needs should this be required in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead and feel lucky that we found them!

Mum got the right care until her very last day which we are very grateful for, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you for everyone for what you did for B and provided her with the best care at home.

As a family we have always been very impressed with the care Mum has received form your care givers and I know Mum has always been happy with it too. 

She has enjoyed seeing all her carers but is particularly fond of J and they have developed a close bond.

We have always appreciated the excellent care you have given to M, as she did, and this allowed us to keep her at home, rather than going into a care home. With all the trauma and upheaval that would have caused.

I’d also like to say that T’ has been great and we really appreciated her nice way with Mum, flexibility, and Birdie reports.  As Mum’s main PC T’ stands out but the other carers who have helped with Mum have been very good as well and it has made a big difference being in close touch with you and N’ (as well as other colleagues), I really appreciate being kept informed and again the flexibility in responding to Mum’s care needs.

All members of staff have all provided me with outstanding care. They carry out their tasks with genuine care, compassion, professionalism, and a real willingness to make me feel comfortable, respected, and content. I have been given the opportunity to change care providers, but I would never consider doing so. I feel loved, cared for, respected. All carers have given me a life that is full of compassion, fun, and joy.
Thank you Home Instead. You have transformed my life and given me optimism that I never thought possible.
