As part of our ongoing dedication to professional development and community partnership, we recently had the privilege of visiting Saint Francis Hospice to join their dementia support group – and what a fantastic experience it was.

Saint Francis Hospice plays a vital role in supporting families across Havering, offering specialist palliative care, dementia support services, and compassionate guidance for loved ones. Being able to spend time with their dementia group gave our team valuable insight into the incredible work they do within our local community.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by their wonderful team. The atmosphere was relaxed, inclusive, and uplifting – a safe and supportive environment for people living with dementia and their families. The session was thoughtfully structured, incorporating meaningful activities designed to encourage engagement, stimulate memory, and promote wellbeing.
