High-Quality Home Care

To The Communities in Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham & Surrounding Areas

As we grow older, there will be times when we start to find tasks that were once simple and easy that have now become a little more challenging.

Accepting that you may need a little assistance with day-to-day life can be a little deflating.

Many people are unaware that home care is more than dressing, bathing and personal care, our CAREGivers are able to help with a variety of tasks to help around the home.

Asking for additional support doesn't mean that you have failed or that you may need to leave home to move into a care home, there are many services we have available to help you remain safe in the comfort of your own home.

Here at Home Instead, we have Home Care services to help support people in living a happy & independent life at home where they feel most comfortable.

We understand that at first, the idea of home care can be slightly daunting. That's why we take extra special measures to ensure we select the perfect CAREGiver for you and your loved one.

Home Care & CAREGivers You Can Trust

In recent times, it has been overwhelming to see the acts of kindness from people across the world and the efforts people have gone through to help and protect others. This makes us incredibly proud of the national effort from our Home Instead offices to protect the vulnerable.

There is no question that it takes an extra special person to become a CAREGiver, someone who is kind, compassionate, trustworthy and who goes the extra mile to make a positive impact on someone's life.

The team here in the Romford office are incredible; every day our CAREGivers & staff go above and beyond to show how dedicated they are to their roles of helping those who need it.

What makes Home Instead stand out from others is that they invest in their people.

Home Instead developed and created specialist care courses that are accredited by City & Guilds.

We enrol all of our CAREGivers on a series of intensive training sessions who later go on to receive an accredited certification upon completion.

A thorough background check and vetting process is also completed before a CAREGiver can begin their career with Home Instead.

After the care consultation, we go through a thorough process to ensure that your requirements and personality get perfectly matched with a CAREGiver.

We know it's essential for everyone to feel comfortable and happy at all times which is why it's crucial for us to get to know our clients as best we can so that we can provide the most person-centred home care service possible.

Flexible Help at Home Tailored To Your Needs

When you book your free care consultation, we take the time to listen and get to know you.

During your assessment, we want to understand what home care requirements you have and how we can best support you with the most reliable home help and support you need.

We then go on to create a care plan based on your personal requirements.

Once we have agreed on the best plan of care for you, we will arrange when your CAREGiver will begin to assist you with the home help and support you need.

Having a CAREGiver around will not only help around the home but it will improve the quality of your life at home, where you belong. You will wonder how you got by without a CAREGiver before!

How to age well

Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.

A BIG Thank You to The Warren School

COVID-19 has meant that the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) has been more crucial than ever. PPE serves to protect both our clients and CAREGivers. We were recently contacted by Pete Williamson, Head of DT at The Warren School who kindly offered to donate face shields that the school has been busy making in Design Technology. They have produced over 650 face shields which really is a testament to the hard work they have put in!! We were extremely pleased with the quality and wanted to share our gratitude and thanks to the school for their generous offer. At difficult times like this, we are amazed to see how the community pull together and provide their offerings to help in any way they can. We have been working hard to ensure that all our CAREGivers are supported and provided with all the correct PPE required. We've ensured strict measures have been put in place aligned to the Government guidelines and are very fortunate that in these pressing times we have retained sufficient PPE throughout this pandemic. Ensuring the health and safety of our clients and CAREGivers remain our number one priority.
