Home Instead Rochdale understand that loneliness can have serious effects on a person’s health and we to prevent isolation by providing companionship care at home as well as running our own support group to get people out the house and socialising. Our friendly care professionals are here to offer you or your loved one the companionship you are looking for, whether it’s simple company and conversation at home or accompanying you to the shops or out for a stroll. We believe that building a relationship with the same care professional plays a vital part in companionship visit and this is why we match our clients to our care professionals and ensure that they see familiar faces at the days and times that suits them.

We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.
Companionship care

Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and nourishing with home-cooked meals.

Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always respecting the dignity of your loved one.

At Home Instead Rochdale we really believe that loneliness can seriously effect a person’s health and wellbeing and this is why we not only offer companionship visits but we run our own social events to ensure people have a place to go to socialise. Coffee Rockers is open to everyone and its help at St George’s Hall on the third Tuesday of every month starting at 13.00 until 15.00 and Milnrow Wellbeing Cafe which is open to anyone that is living with Dementia and their carers, this is help at Butterworth Hall on first Tuesday on every month from 13.00 until 15.00. We provide refreshments, entertainment, guest speaks and the opportunity to socialise with other people.

Home Instead is proud to support our community and all our care professionals live in the Rochdale area. We want to give back to the community which is why we create something called ‘the what’s on where guide’ or ‘WOW guide.’ We have one that covers the Rochdale & Pennines area and another that covers the Heywood and Middleton areas. We work with many organisations and have a list of social events that are free to attend throughout the Rochdale area, whether you are looking for a lunch club, dance class or walking club, you will find information about these in the guide along with our own events, Coffee Rockers and Milnrow Wellbeing Café.
