Healey Dell Heritage Centre & Tea Rooms - Shawclough

The Healey Dell Heritage Centre and Tea Rooms is set within the Healey Dell Nature Reserve on Dell Road, Rochdale. Step back in time and enjoy the Edwardian themed splendour of these fabulous, authentic tea rooms where speciality beverages and delicious food is served from the finest bone China. The Tea Room source the food carefully to ensure it is of good quality, using simple and fresh ingredients with the aim to provide freshly prepared produce so that the food tastes as good as home cooked food. There is now an outdoor eating area (with heating) so no steps involved which is great for Wheelchair Users. Many of our Client and Care Professionals have regular treats from the tearoom and love sitting and watching the world go by.

The Olive and Pickle - Hollingworth Lake - Littleborough

The Olive & Pickle is a family run cafe/restaurant with a Victorian twist. It has a beautiful lakefront view of Hollingworth Lake. The restaurant offers home-made traditional food with a modern twist and outstanding service.
Why not take a stroll around the gorgeous lake and visit the Olive & Pickle where food is served all day. There is a large pay and display carpark on the opposite side of the road.

Millcroft Tea Gardens - Norden

This Tearoom is a hidden treasure in the Norden Village, not far from Rochdale Football Club. It is an enduring piece of Victorian outdoor life which is a great source of refreshment on Sundays and Bank Holidays, from Mothering Sunday to October 12noon-6pm, nestling amongst the biggest growth of monkey puzzle trees in the North of England. Inside the tea rooms are photographs and historic items which tells the story of this lovely little corner of Rochdale. This family run tearoom providing freshly prepared food and excellent customer service. There is ramp access if needed and a disabled toilet. There is no parking but they do have a drop off point and street parking near by. It is advisable to book as the tearoom can get very busy!

The Whitehouse - Littleborough

The White House stands like a land mark high on the Pennine hills, with panoramic views of the surrounding moors and Hollingworth Lake far below.
The old coaching house dates from 1671 and is situated 1,300 feet above sea level. The Coach and Horses (the original name) is where “the young bloods of Littleborough having guarded the mail coach from highway men would seek recompense for their labours with vigorous applications to strong liquors” The famous Pennine way passes this hostelry which is featured in the Good Pub Guide and CAMRA good beer guide.
