With Home Instead, we believe that the best place for your loved one to stay is comfortably in their own home. The high-quality care and home visits that we provide mean your loved one can enjoy their independence in familiar surroundings. We provide the highest quality overnight care in Worksop, Retford and Gainsborough, so your loved one can rest easy knowing there is care and support throughout the night. Our locally recruited Care Professionals are available to support with care through the night, and this can be a sleep-in service or a waking night, both providing that much-needed peace of mind for families. Overnight care is best suited for an older adult or anyone who is unwell and may require frequent support through the night.

Overnight care can be as simple as a sleep-in service with one of our Care Professionals providing reassurance nearby, or it can be a waking night providing assistance with administering any medication or supporting with visits to the bathroom. The sleep-in service means the Care Professional will stay with your loved one in their home in Bawtry, Tickhill or the surrounding areas. A sleep-in service works well if your loved one does not need care through the night but wants the peace of mind that someone is nearby. On the other hand, a waking night service means a Care Professional stays awake and alert through the night with your loved one.

We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

Medication management
Ensuring medicines are taken correctly and on time, supporting overall health.
Our care is of the highest quality, and on homecare.co.uk you can see how our care is rated. A.T., whose mum received support from Home Instead, shared on homecare.co.uk that her mother “had three carers a day” and was “well looked after.” She explained how the team went above and beyond, saying that “at times the office staff arranged to cover for doctor’s appointments,” and when her mum was not feeling well, “they arranged for a carer to stay with her longer.” She added, “the carers were always friendly and took good care of my mum.” Feedback like this reflects the kindness, flexibility and dedication our Care Professionals bring to every visit, ensuring each client feels looked after.

We have been able to help many families stay comfortably at home, and Jade, Gemma and Molly in the office have led the team to provide only the highest quality overnight care. Jade, as the Care Manager, ensures any overnight care that is planned is tailored to the needs of the client. If required, the client or the client’s family can call the office and speak to Gemma Whall, who is always happy to revisit the care package and review the options to increase, decrease or provide intervention methods. Whatever you need, our office team and locally recruited Care Professionals are here to help you or your loved ones in Gainsborough, Misterton or Corringham.

We are proud to be an active part of our local community. Our Community Engagement Officer, David, regularly visits organisations, groups and charities within the local area, offering guidance and support to those who may benefit from our care services. You will often find our team at local events too, as we aim to raise awareness and fundraise for Home Instead Charities, a cause close to our hearts that helps older adults live well and stay connected.
