Home Instead provided a very caring and professional service for my mother for several years and with their support, she was able to live independently at home. The communications with the office were always helpful and supportive. They communicated any concerns with helpful advice, including, for example, photos of bruising/bites/areas of concern which I was able to forward to the GP. The caregivers were very helpful and friendly. They were efficient in their duties and made time to chat with Mum, do the crossword together etc. Which she really appreciated. Mum went to the hospital due to a fall, and during her recuperation Home Instead came out to her assess her and devised a plan to get her home more quickly and care for her at home, as was her wish.
PT – Client’s Son

Human resources is very good at matching the carers to the patient. My carer it meticulous and patient and I could not wish for a better.
MH - Client

I’ve been absolutely delighted with the care my mother has received over the last year. Both the office staff and caregivers are always professional, supportive and caring. When my mother recently had to be hospitalised, they were so efficient and liaised with all the medical professionals, helping to reduce everyone’s stress levels. A fantastic caregiver was there to support my mother and me, on her return from hospital – we could not have managed without her. All the caregivers are caring and supportive companions to my mother on a daily basis – she looks forward to their visits and chats.
SD – Client’s Daughter

I cannot recommend Home Instead (Reading) enough. So much so that I have passed their details onto friends who are in need of a good, care providing company on numerous occasions. They are reliable, courteous and professional and always have not only my father’s best interests at heart but that of the whole family.
WH - Client's Son

Everyone I have spoken to has been polite, friendly and helpful. My mother really likes her carers and it has been enormously helpful to me to have someone else looking out for her and helping her. She seems much happier since your staff have been visiting.
