Owners Expand Award-Winning Home Care Services to the Area

Andrew and Mandy Aitken, owners of Home Instead Beverley and Hull, are expanding to bring their award-winning care to the area. Having enjoyed four years of providing exceptional home care to older people in Beverley and Hull, they are now covering the neighbouring areas of Pocklington, Brough, Market Weighton, Gilberdyke, Holme Upon Spalding Moor and all the villages in between.

Mandy set up Home Instead Beverley and Hull back in 2019 with the mission to expand the care options available to older people in the area. Building a strong team of care professionals, Mandy has made it possible for people to stay living at home if the time comes when they need support. Care professionals deliver a range of support, including personal care, such as help with dressing and bathing, companionship, dementia care, and live-in care.

For three years running, Home Instead Beverley and Hull has been included in homecare.co.uk’s top 20 home care companies in Yorkshire & The Humber; a list based on reviews by clients and their families, on a website dubbed ‘the TripAdvisor for home care’.

Now, joined by Andrew, Mandy has decided it’s time to expand Home Instead’s care services to support more older people in the East Riding, mirror the success she has seen in Beverley and Hull, and give more people access to the same exceptional home care.

Commenting on her expanding business, Mandy says: “Over the past four years it has been an honour to be part of the community and support older people in the area. It’s so heartwarming seeing older people retain their independence and stay living in their beloved homes – a place of warmth and familiarity – while getting the support they need. I’m so grateful of my team for giving families the reassurance that their loved one is in safe hands. It’s an exciting future ahead, offering same to the people of our expanded area, giving them an alternative to residential care.

“Our care is tailored to the person, and we match care professionals to clients based on similar interests. It’s no surprise that we’ve seen friendships blossom. I’m certain we’ll see this happen at Home Instead Pocklington and Brough.”

Home Instead is looking to recruit 10 new care professionals initially, whether they have previous sector experience or not. Full training is provided, standing new recruits in great stead to deliver exceptional care.
