Home Instead have been caring for older adults, keeping them safe in Rhoose, Barry, Penarth and surrounding areas since 2009. We provide relationship-centered care at home that promotes the independence and well-being of the people we support.
Our approach is to meet a new client and really take time to understand their needs, preferences and how they like things done. We then carefully select a small team of “care professionals” who become their regular companions, allowing relationships based on trust and friendship to form.
This unique approach makes the service highly personal and can transform the lives of our elderly clients and offers much needed reassurance to their family carers and friends.

We offer a completely flexible approach to care in Rhoose & local areas, that can adapt to changing needs.
We carefully recruit and train our team of care professionals and they can help with a warm smile and friendly conversation, meal preparation, helping somebody get washed and dressed, support with medication, light housekeeping, laundry and most other requests!
The service can quickly increase to meet changes in needs and we work every day of the year from morning until night-time. Some clients just start with a few hours of companionship or housework, whilst others have more substantial needs.
We are also able to support with live-in care which represents an excellent and more personal alternative to residential care.

Tailored Home Care in Rhoose
We offer our clients continuity and consistency – we send the same regular care professionals to help our clients and they quickly get to know what matters most to each person they support.
We know the local Rhoose area well and are happy to take a client out for a pub lunch at The Highwayman Inn, or for a walk in Rhoose Village. We can also take people out further afield, perhaps to Marks & Spencer at Culverhouse Cross, or into Cardiff City centre.
