To mark World Parkinson’s Day on the 11th April we visited the Parkinson’s support group at Dinas Powys.

Lara Ward from Motion Control Dance kindly facilitated a taster session from her established dance sessions, specifically designed for those with a Parkinson’s diagnosis and their Carers.

We moved all parts of the body, both seated and standing, to an array of toe tapping tunes from the 60s.

Everyone had lots of fun and really enjoyed the imaginative way Lara got us to move our bodies with lots of visualisations.
