Stretching The Body And Mind At Home Instead’s Memory Cafe

In April at our Penarth Memory Café we had Sophie from Rubicon Dance attend, to give us a taster session.

We enjoyed an array of seated dance movements to a selection of songs which we could choose ourselves.

After, over a nice cuppa and some biscuits, we got stuck into some fun mind exercises with “Guess The Slogan” followed by some questions from our Honky Horn quizzes.

Our volunteers Kate and Louise looked after us with topped up drinks and support in all the activities.

When you have a dementia diagnosis it’s still possible to live well and enjoy many activities.

If you would like to join us at our next Penarth Memory café, why not pop along on Monday 13th May at 10am.
