Musical Movement And Festive Cheer In Penarth!

Musical Movement And Festive Cheer In Penarth!
In December we celebrated our last Penarth Memory and Movement session of the year with Jacky Ayres from The Alzheimer’s Society, facilitating a brilliant musical session which stretched us both physically and mentally.
We started with Musical Bingo, which had us all singing along with the songs as we marked them off our cards.
This was followed The Twelve Days of Christmas, along with actions as pictured above.
We ended with a medley of bell ringing and due to Jacky’s musical talents, we actually sounded like a percussion band.

Our festive refreshments and hot drinks were all served by our lovely volunteers, Louise and Jo and we thank them for their support across 2025.
Our professional guest was Caroline from Pedal Power who updated the group about their new project for unpaid carers’ respite sessions.
