Home Instead’s  Social Coffee Groups in The Vale of Glamorgan

Home Instead are the UK’s leading home care provider, supporting older adults with companionship led home care

We know that keeping people connected really aids wellbeing, so are proud to run several free groups in the Vale of GIamorgan in November, we continued all 3 of our regular social coffee groups along with our famous Honky Horn Quiz!

We are committed to providing free social sessions to help combat loneliness and isolation, as we know it’s so harmful to physical and mental wellbeing.

Our themed quiz questions on Fireworks and the Gunpowder plot was well received and of course the mixture of singing and dramatic interpretations for bonus points revealed enough talent for us to

start our own amateur dramatics group!!

We always celebrate Christmas at these sessions with a Christmas themed quiz, with plenty of Christmas songs along the way.

We provide hot drinks and mince pies, so why not join us in December at the any of the following?

  • Wednesday 1st December at The Cross Keys pub in Dinas Powys 11am – 12.30pm
  • Thursday 4th December at the Memorial Hall in Llandough 1pm – 2.30pm
  • Thursday 11th December at The Cherry Orchard Pub in Barry 11am – 1pm

If you would like to register your interest to join us please contact Chrissy  – [email protected] or call 02920 569483

We are also happy to provide free activities to established community groups, just contact Chrissy to book some in.
