Forward Planning in Dinas Powys

It was lovely to meet the Parkinson’s support group who meet monthly at the Murchfield Community centre in Dinas Powys.

Sixteen people attended and they clearly get a lot out of their meet ups, sharing their ideas, latest treatment developments and planning outings.

It was our pleasure to deliver our “Wheel of Life” talk which opens up the chance for people to discuss at what point in their life they would consider having care and support to retain their independence.

It was well received and they all went away with a “Wheel of Life” handout to use as a reference tool to monitor their own health and wellbeing.

We plan to visit them again soon with our “Honky Horn” quiz.
