Coronation Tea and Age Connects

In May we loved joining the Age Connects team in Holton Rd, Barry when they ran a belated Coronation Tea for their groups.

Eighteen sat down to freshly made rolls, cups of tea and coffee, with a selection of delicious cakes and biscuits to follow.

After the feast, we ran our “Honky Horn” quiz where the teams were in fine form grappling for the bonus points by singing certain songs.

There was a clear winning team who were very quick off the mark with all the bonus questions.

Their prize was a box of chocolates to share and each got a squeeze of the Honky Horn – they kindly donated their chocolates to Norman who had volunteered for the afternoon.

Raffle numbers were drawn after the quiz, and more prizes were given out, many said how much they had enjoyed the occasion.
