Barry Over 50s Social Celebrates Eric Morecambe’s Birthday
In May our participants at our Barry Over 50s social informed us it was Eric Morecambe’s 100 Birthday.
As part of our Honky Horn bonus points they all launched into “Bring Me Sunshine” which was absolutely delightful.
One of our talented attendees, Mansell, had also written a poem about his experiences since joining the group and his recital can be found on some local Facebook groups, along with the “Bring Me Sunshine” singing.
Our Over 50s socials are a great way to make friends, keep your brains working, and have lots of laughs.
Our free refreshments help to keep up energy levels and our hosts at the Cherry Orchard Pub are really accommodating as we do tend to make quite a lot of noise.
