A Seated Workout In Penarth

In June, Sophie from Rubicon Dance facilitated a lovely seated dance session at our Memory and Movement café in Penarth.

We experienced moving all parts of our bodies whilst singing along to songs we loved and having so much fun.

Our Professional guests were –

Rob Jones from the NHS Live Well, Age Well team who informed us of their 6 week course to teach us how to grow older and still remain healthy – ring 02920 836945 to book a place.

Carole Evans – local therapist offering free counselling sessions to unpaid carers.

Yvette Tyndell from Caniad – they welcome unpaid carers and those with lived experience of mental health issues to provide feedback to shape services moving forwards – Get involved with Caniad – Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

At Home Instead Cardiff, Penarth and Barry we understand the stresses and strains experienced by unpaid carers, which is why we work alongside families to support loved ones to live their best lives.
