A glance back over the festive period and the positive outcomes we have achieved together in 2025

Welcome to our December Newsletter!

As we head into December and the festive season begins, we’re delighted to be sharing our newsletter a little earlier than usual. With so many exciting updates to celebrate before the end of the year, we couldn’t wait to keep you in the loop. This month, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has made this year so special, sharing a few feel-good highlights and festive moments that remind us why our Home Instead Oxford community means so much to us.

We’re delighted to be spending the Christmas period visiting so many of our lovely clients. And a huge thank you to all of our team who are dedicating their time over this period to making special moments with clients.

Celebrating the Success of Our BASTAs Campaign 2025

We’re thrilled to share the wonderful success of this year’s Be a Santa to A Senior campaign! Thanks to the generosity of our local community and our amazing team, we were able to brighten the festive season for many older people spending Christmas in hospital. From thoughtful gifts to heartfelt gestures, the support of so many, including clients, their families, suppliers and local businesses has brought smiles, warmth, and festive cheer to those who need it most. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved—you’ve truly made a difference!

Home Instead Oxford’s Father Christmas, his elves, and the Witney Voice Box Choir were warmly welcomed at Witney Community Hospital to visit patients on Wenrisc and Linfoot wards. They sang festive carols, shared Christmas songs, and delivered thoughtful gifts to bring some holiday cheer. We also teamed up with the Oxford Hospitals Charity, delivering nearly 40 gifts that will be distributed to the JR Hospital before Christmas—spreading smiles across the local community!

We’re incredibly grateful to Witney Community Hospital, Oxford Hospitals Charity, the Witney Voice Box Choir, and everyone who donated and supported the campaign.

Another Successful Event with Dementia Oxfordshire

This month, Josh, Leah, and Nelli had a fantastic time at the Dementia Oxfordshire Winter Fayre. They met lots of lovely people from the community and connected with other organisations working to support those living with dementia. Events like this are a wonderful opportunity to come together, share ideas, and continue working towards a Dementia-friendly Oxfordshire. This month, Josh, Leah, and Nelli had a fantastic time at the Dementia Oxfordshire Winter Fayre.
