Home Instead North Wales Achieves “Excellent” Rating in CIW Inspection

Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), Independent Regulator of social care in Wales visited the Home Instead office in Colwyn Bay on the 3rd of December, 2025 to conduct their comprehensive inspection. We are pleased to report that Home Instead North Wales received “Excellent” for Care & Support, Wellbeing and Leadership.

The commitment to providing tailored personal centred care was recognised with comments from the Inspectors stating:

“Home Instead work closely with people and their families delivering person centred care to help people achieve their desired emotional, mental, and physical well-being outcomes.”

“People have strong relationships with the care staff, and care packages are tailored to meet people’s needs and preferences.”

“The service is proactive and collaborates with external agencies to ensure the people they care for have additional opportunities to improve their lives.”

“People receive excellent, consistent care from a work force that is well supported by the management team and receive robust training at induction.”
