Rich with history, Whelk Coppers tea rooms were established in 1992 by Sandra & Peter Foster and is still owned and run by the same family. The building was originally fisherman’s cottages and has evolved ever since. The Tea Rooms are panelled in Indian Teak from a Royal Navy Frigate built in Calcutta in 1820 & the amazing wrought Iron gates were reputedly designed by Walt Disney, a friend of the original owner.

They believe in keeping things local and fresh, everything is made to order with produce from the local bakery, butchers, greengrocers, and fishmongers. Cakes and scones are all homemade and baked in house by their staff.

Bang in Wells

Born out of the desire to create a colourful, warm, and welcoming place where both local people and visitors alike can pop in for a bite to eat and enjoy simple yet superbly cooked food, Bang in Wells is in the heart of the historic fishing port of Wells-next-the-Sea. Serving delicious breakfasts every day, pop to the coast in the early morning for a filling meal before going for a relaxing walk along the beach or through the woods.

Tucked away down a little side street in Holt, Horatio’s is off the radar of most tourists. Service with a smile, always, and the food is incredible.
