Most recommended home care company

12th consecutive year for top award
Home Instead UK has been named the most recommended home care company on homecare.co.uk, the UK’s top reviews website for the sector.
It is the 12th consecutive year Home Instead UK has received the award in the Top 20 Home Care Groups in the UK for 2026.
Every year, the website releases lists showing the top 20 home care companies for every region, based on the reviews given by clients and their families. 29 Home Instead offices have scored high enough to earn a place in their regional list; that’s more than any other home care group across the UK.
In Scotland, Home Instead storms the homecare.co.uk top 20, with eight offices having a position in the list, more than any other company.
It’s double the success, as Home Instead has once again been listed on the website’s top 20 large and mid-sized home care groups, out of over 1,000 home care groups in the UK. This puts the company in the top 2% of home care groups in the UK of this size.
Ruth Brown, MD of Home Instead UK, said: “Every year, our local offices do us proud with the glowing ratings they receive on homecare.co.uk. They are a snapshot of the positive difference we make in communities across the UK and a reminder of the dedication shown by our Care Professionals.
“Navigating the care system can be complex and overwhelming for many, and I applaud homecare.co.uk for helping families identify quality care in their area.
“I want to thank all of our clients and families who have been part of the Home Instead journey over the years. It is our privilege to offer our support, and you inspire us to continue delivering care to the highest standard.”
Recognised among the UK's Top 20 Home Care Groups
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of homecare.co.uk, said: “As more people choose to receive care and support in their own homes, it is increasingly important that they can identify providers delivering exceptional standards of care.
“Home Instead has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to supporting people to live independently while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. We are delighted to congratulate them on being recognised as one of the Top 20 Home Care Groups in the UK for 2026.
“Our reviews and awards provide a valuable source of information for people seeking trusted, high-quality home care and offer genuine insight into the experiences of those receiving care and support.”
