Two Counties and Home Instead Spread Easter Cheer

Two Counties Nursery Children Create Easter Cards To Spread Easter Joy

Home Instead run an Easter Campaign every year where we invite a local school or nursery to create Easter cards for elderly individuals to spread joy and happiness in the community.  This year we reached out to Kate Price the Manager at Two Counties Nursery in Croesyceiliog to see if the children would like to help create some special Easter cards this year who were thrilled to be involved.

The children and staff of Two Counties Nursery dedicated some time each day over a week to exlore their creativity by paint, colour, cut, draw and stick and created the most amazing Easter cards.

Two Counties Nursery manager, Kate Price, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this Easter initiative because at Two Counties Nursery, we believe in the power of small acts of kindness, and we are excited to spread joy and warmth to older members of our community, especially during this Easter season.

The special cards were all hand written and specially crafted for a specific individual which bridged the inter-generational gap and helped the children develop a special understanding of the importance of Easter and took great pride and enjoyment being creative and having fun.
