Out and About in Monmouthshire

Things to do this Summer in Monmouthshire

Summer is the the time when we have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with longer hours of daylight and the hope of warmer weather so with this in mind I wanted to share with you the best of what Monmouthshire has to offer for those that like to explore: –

Run by either Robb or Nicola the owners of the Vineyard you can experience the past and present of this award winning Welsh Winery a snapshot of how they turned a dream into a reality from £19 per person.

Packed full of artistic creations you can explore the gardens and enjoy the beautiful artworks on show.  Open on Wednesday afternoons, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2pm-5pm.

At the Borough Theatre in Abergavenny you can experience music, drama and history with a range of performance featuring comedy, in person talks, tribute acts and more.

Nestled in the Usk Valley beneath the black mountains in Monmouthshire Lanover Garden with 18 acres of beautiful country side you can enjoy some tranquity on the first Friday of each month from 1pm-4pm.

On the 14th and 15th June 2024 the hotel will host the globe trotting Faulty Towers Dining experience with a 3 course meal.

Above are just a few examples of what you can do in Monmouthshire but even a trip into Monmouth is a must steeped in History and there are lots of lovely restuarants and shops and a visit to Shire Hall can not be missed.
