Men's Health & Well-being Show in Maidenhead

It’s been another busy and rewarding week here at Home Instead, with our team out in the community meeting local residents and supporting important conversations around health and well-being.

On Wednesday, Lumi and Carolyn attended the Men’s Health & Well-being Show at Maidenhead Library. Now in its third year, the event continues to grow in both size and impact, bringing together local organisations, health professionals and community groups who are passionate about helping men stay healthy and active in later life.

This year’s event welcomed more than 350 visitors, all taking the opportunity to explore the wide range of stalls, speak with professionals and learn more about the services and support available to them. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, with many great conversations taking place throughout the day.

Our Home Instead stand proved popular with visitors. The mugs and activity books we brought along were very well received, and they sparked plenty of conversations with people stopping by to learn more about what we do.

Lumi and Carolyn met many individuals who were interested in finding out how Home Instead can help people remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes. It was wonderful to connect with so many members of the community and to share how personalised home care can make a real difference to people’s lives.

Events like this are a fantastic reminder of the importance of community collaboration when it comes to supporting health and well-being, particularly in later life. We’re already looking forward to seeing how the event continues to grow in the years to come.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello — it was great to meet you!
