Bringing Community to the Heart of Lytham: Introducing Our New Hub

At Home Instead Lytham, we’ve always believed that care goes far beyond the home. It’s about connection, companionship, and feeling part of something. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome you to our Community Hub at 51 Clifton Street, Lytham – a space designed to bring people together in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment.

A Space for Everyone

Our hub has been created with the community in mind. Whether you’re living with dementia, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for a friendly place to connect with others, our door is always open. Loneliness and isolation can affect anyone, and we wanted to create a place where people can drop in, enjoy a cup of tea, and feel truly welcomed.

Starting from the first week of May, we’ll be hosting a range of regular activities, each designed to support wellbeing, encourage conversation, and bring people together.

Our “Love To” Community Sessions

We’ve developed a range of sessions to suit different interests and needs, all held in a relaxed and inclusive setting:

Love to Learn
Our dementia awareness sessions, held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 2–3pm, are designed to offer guidance, support, and understanding for those living with dementia and their families.

Love to Explore
A weekly drop-in session every Friday from 2–3pm, giving you the chance to learn more about our services, ask questions, and have a friendly, informal chat with our team.

Love to Chat
Held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 2–3pm, this is all about connection. Enjoy a brew, a slice of cake, and good conversation while meeting others in your local community.

Love to Craft
Taking place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 2–3pm, these sessions offer a chance to get creative in a relaxed environment. No experience needed, just come along and enjoy.

Alongside these regular sessions, we’ll also be hosting additional events such as scam awareness talks and other community-focused activities throughout the year.

Why Community Matters to Us

As a local care provider, being part of the community is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t just want to deliver care, we want to build relationships, support families, and create opportunities for people to feel connected and valued.

Our Community Hub is an extension of this mission. It’s a place where conversations start, friendships grow, and support is always close by. Whether you visit regularly or just pop in for a quick chat, you’ll always be met with a friendly face (and a great cup of tea!).

Supporting You at Home

While our hub brings people together, our core focus remains providing high-quality care in the comfort of your own home.

Home Instead Lytham has been a trusted provider of homecare on the Fylde Coast for over 15 years, delivering personalised, person-centred support tailored to each individual. Our services include companionship, home help, specialist and complex care, live-in care, hospital discharge support, and compassionate end-of-life care.

We’re here to help people live well, safely, and independently at home, while also staying connected to the community around them.
