Be a Santa

This Christmas, the Home Instead Lytham team were proud to spread festive cheer across the local community through our Be A Santa Campaign, made possible by the incredible generosity of local businesses and community groups.
At the heart of the campaign were our wonderful Community Angels, Christine and Janet, who spent time out and about collecting donated gifts from businesses across Whitehills Business Park and along Clifton Street. Their dedication and friendly faces helped bring the campaign to life, building connections and encouraging even more people to get involved.
A Fantastic Community Response 🎁✨
We were overwhelmed by the kindness shown by local businesses, who generously donated a wide range of thoughtful gifts. Every donation, big or small, helped us ensure that festive joy reached people who may otherwise have gone without a gift this Christmas.
Thanks to this amazing support, all the donated gifts were carefully distributed to organisations supporting people in our local area, including:
-
Local dementia support groups
-
Lytham Hospital
-
Trinity Hospice
-
A church hall in Poulton
Each organisation plays a vital role in caring for and supporting people within our community, and we were honoured to be able to contribute to their festive celebrations.
Making a Difference Where It Matters Most 💚
Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those living with dementia, people receiving care in hospital, or individuals supported by hospice and community services. Through the Be A Santa Campaign, we aimed to bring not just gifts, but moments of comfort, warmth and connection.
Seeing the joy and appreciation as the gifts were delivered was a powerful reminder of how much a small act of kindness can mean. The generosity of local businesses, combined with the dedication of our Community Angels, truly embodied the spirit of Christmas.
Thank You 💚🎄
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Christine and Janet for their time, enthusiasm and commitment, and to every local business on Whitehills Business Park and Clifton Street who donated to the campaign. Your kindness has helped spread festive cheer and made a real difference to people across Lytham and the surrounding areas.
From everyone at Home Instead Lytham, thank you for helping us share the joy of Christmas and show the strength of our local community 💚🎅
