Open for just under 2 years, The Shack is a little gem in the Barton le clay village. The café is located on the Barton high street and is close to all shops and amenities. The restaurant is well known for its food but it also does the most amazing hot drinks and cakes for you to enjoy. The shack serves up brownies and doughnuts from independent boutiques across central Bedfordshire that can be served with their classic teas and coffees!
It is like no other place in the local area although it is small, it is a perfect place to stop for a cuppa to unwind and plenty of cosy seats inside and out! Take a look at the delicious menu before you go!
Jacc’s Gourmet Coffee is an Independent coffee in the heart of Dunstable. You will be spoilt for choice with its 30 different flavours of coffee and hot chocolates all at an extremely reasonable price! If you or a client is feeling peckish, there is also a choice of hot and cold food to enjoy, ranging from cakes to toasted sandwiches. You can enjoy this all either outside if the sun is shining or plenty of room inside.

The Priory house tea rooms also known as ‘The Hidden Gem of Dunstable’ is a traditional tea room that overlooks the Priory gardens! With some parts of the building dating back to the 13th Century, it is a fantastic historical place to take seniors and a perfect tea spot with views.
The Gardens can offer the opportunity to relax in the historic surroundings of the Priory. Many visitors come here during the summer seasons to admire the floral displays and enjoy some tea in the Priory House.

Sainsbury’s is the second largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom and in a few of their stores, they offer a café. You will find Sainsburys in between the Bramingham and Barton Hills area of Luton.
If you want to treat the seniors you care for after their weekly shop at Sainsburys, take them to the café upstairs in the Bramingham branch. Many of our care professionals take their clients here for a little treat to look forward to after the shop.

The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is the perfect place to take your loved ones if you want a historic twist to the usual tea break! Set in a historic Watermill, the unique space has been there since 1086 and since being restored, it has over 20 unique boutiques, outdoor space, and a café. It is a great hidden treasure to visit!
With regular customers a day visiting their café, they stock up with fresh cakes daily so there is something different for everyone to enjoy.
