Community Lunches Go Down Well

In May we visited Cadoxton Primary School to see them in action delivering their Good Food Café in Victoria Park Community Centre alongside the school.
The children cook with volunteers, set the tables, take orders and offer table service.
It was lovely to see so many different people enjoying meals from a healthy menu, all brought to them by some very polite and caring children.
This is clearly very successful on so many levels.
Local people get access to freshly cooked tasty meals, whilst the children are developing an understanding of healthy eating, cooking, social skills and being organised.
We look forward to seeing them again in June.
