A career journey fuelled by a passion for care.

What does a 13-year career in care look like? For Rebecca, our  Group General Manager, it has been a journey of transformation – both for the families she’s supported and for her own professional life.

Dedication led to success

Rebecca’s rise through the ranks to her position at Home Instead is a testament to what happens when you stay dedicated to a mission:

  • Starting Small, Impacting Big: Rebecca began by supporting elderly clients and children with learning disabilities. This ‘hands-on’ foundation remains the heartbeat of her leadership style today.
  • Breaking the Mould: Rebecca’s talent for management saw her become one of the UK’s youngest Registered Care Managers. She spent over half a decade ensuring the highest standards of care before stepping into her current executive leadership role.
  • A Lifelong Commitment: Now serving as Group General Manager, Rebecca focuses on the big picture, ensuring we provide the tools and opportunities for the next generation of care leaders to thrive, whilst ensuring our Care Professionals continue to deliver outstanding care to our clients.

“I just fell in love with the work and became passionate about care,” Rebecca says. Thirteen years later, that passion has turned into a high-level leadership career that continues to change lives every day

She continued “As I have found, there really is a structured pathway to a viable and rewarding career – you just need to take the opportunity and commit to giving care a chance. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
