Join Us for 'Spot the Signs'

A free community event supporting you and your loved ones

When someone we love begins to show signs of ageing, it can feel overwhelming.

Perhaps you’ve noticed small changes in a parent’s behaviour, or a neighbour seems less steady on their feet than before. These moments often leave us wondering: Am I overreacting? Should I be concerned? What can I do to help?

You’re absolutely not alone in feeling this way, and we’re here to support you through it.

What is ‘Spot the Signs’?

We’re delighted to invite you to our free community event, ‘Spot the Signs’. This friendly, informative evening has been designed specifically for people like you – those who care deeply about the wellbeing of ageing loved ones.

We’ve carefully structured the evening to ensure you get the most from your time with us:

6:30 – 7:00pm: Welcome and refreshments
Arrive, settle in, and enjoy light refreshments whilst meeting other attendees. This relaxed start gives you time to feel comfortable and perhaps chat informally with our team and fellow community members.

7:00 – 8:00pm: Talk and opportunity to learn more
Our main presentation covers the essential information about recognising signs of concern, practical support strategies, and local resources available to help you and your loved ones.

8:00 – 8:30pm: Discussion with other families and Q&A
The evening concludes with an open discussion where you can ask specific questions, share experiences with other families, and receive personalised guidance from our team.

Who should come along?

This event welcomes anyone who is:

  • A family member concerned about an ageing relative’s health, safety, or behaviour
  • A friend or neighbour who has noticed changes in someone they care about
  • Simply interested in learning more about supporting older people in our community

Whether you’re just beginning to notice changes or have been concerned for some time, you’ll find this evening both informative and reassuring.
