Local MP visits Home Instead Lewes District and Uckfield

We were delighted to welcome local MP Mims Davies, Conservative MP for East Grinstead and Uckfield, to our office on Friday 27th June.

Three people are standing outside a brick building with a sign that reads "Home Instead." Two women and one man are smiling and posing for the photo; one woman is shaking hands with the man. The women are wearing floral dresses, and the man is in a checkered shirt with dark trousers. The building has white-framed windows and an open door with part of a banner visible inside. The setting appears to be sunny and welcoming.

Her visit highlighted a shared commitment to high-quality care, and we're grateful for her interest in Home Instead and the wider care sector.

During her visit with us, we had the opportunity to discuss several important topics that are close to our hearts and vital to our community.

Ms Davies was particularly eager to hear about the care industry and how our care works, especially home care within our area. We explored the current challenges facing the care industry and identified opportunities for future collaboration that could benefit both our clients and the broader community.

Both Alison and Ms Davies are supporters of the Uckfield Chamber of Commerce, which provides a foundation for ongoing partnership and community engagement. This shared interest reflects our mutual commitment to supporting local business and community development.

Thank you, Mims, for taking the time to visit and for showing such genuine interest in the work we do here! This visit reinforces our belief that when local representatives, businesses, and care providers work together, we can create meaningful change that benefits everyone in this part of East Sussex.
