Meet Sarah Wilkins, Our Registered Care Manager
Get to know Sarah Wilkins, our Registered Care Manager, and discover the experience, compassion and dedication she brings to supporting clients and families.
Many of our clients and their families will already know Sarah Wilkins, who has been part of the Home Instead Lewes District & Uckfield family for the past three and a half years. For those who haven’t yet had the chance to meet her, we wanted to introduce Sarah and share a little about the person behind our Registered Care Manager.
More than 20 years of experience in care
Sarah’s career in care began more than 20 years ago, supporting children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours. After ten rewarding years, she moved into caring for older adults and quickly discovered how much she enjoyed helping people remain safe, happy and independent in the comfort of their own homes.
“Caring has always been at the heart of what I do, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a role where I can make a positive difference every day,” says Sarah.
Since joining Home Instead Lewes District & Uckfield, Sarah has become a familiar face to many of our clients and families. Having worked alongside both our Care Professionals and office team, she understands the importance of building trusted relationships and taking the time to get to know each person as an individual.
As Registered Care Manager, Sarah oversees the delivery of care, supports our wonderful Care Professionals and works closely with clients and their families to ensure every care plan reflects what matters most to them.
Life on the farm
When she’s not at work, Sarah’s time is spent looking after a rather different team!
She lives on a farm with horses, goats, sheep, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, and also helps care for her sister’s tortoises and bearded dragons. Safe to say, life is rarely quiet!
