10 Years of Home Instead. Caring, Fundraising & Supporting Our Community!

Over the years, we’ve supported hundreds of families through some of life’s most tender moments. We’ve seen beautiful friendships blossom between clients and Care Professionals. Connections that go far beyond a job description. We’ve shared cups of tea and treasured life stories, celebrated milestones both big and small, and built relationships that have brought real comfort and happiness.

And now, we want to celebrate all of it with you.

Throughout 2026, we’ll be marking our anniversary with 10 celebrations across 10 months, bringing together fundraising, community spirit and storytelling.

At each event, Alison will share a personal memory from our journey. The moments, both big and small, that have quietly shaped who we are today.

A word from Alison

“Ten years ago, I couldn’t have imagined everything this community would teach me.
I’ve been privileged to witness extraordinary ordinary moments, such as a client tending their garden again for the first time in years, a family finally breathing a sigh of relief because they knew their mum was in safe hands, a Care Professional going the extra mile and truly caring.

This anniversary isn’t really about us. It’s about every single person who has been part of our story. So this year, we’re giving back by raising funds, sharing memories and saying a proper thank you.”

March – month one

We’re kicking off our campaign with something very close to our hearts. Our Home Instead Companionship Café.

We’re inviting older adults in our community to join us for a special Community Café event featuring Movingsounds, offering a joyful and interactive musical experience in a warm and welcoming setting.

Loneliness remains one of the greatest challenges facing older people today. Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can offer is simply… company.

Fundraising with purpose

All funds raised throughout the year will support Home Instead Charities, helping to tackle loneliness and isolation among older adults.
