Home Instead have cared for mum for over two years, due to dementia. They make extended visits, being a substantial part of a 24/7 care package. Home Instead is completely reliable, providing excellent office support with extremely rapid responses to phone calls and e-mails. The office manager is lovely and completely approachable, responsive and understanding of any issues concerning mum. Home Instead provide continuity of care involving the smallest number of carers so I am confident that the staff really understand my mum’s needs. The carers are brilliant with my mum, who can be challenging. All are fully aware of her medication schedule. They are always punctual and provide detailed reports of their visits on their care app. Home Instead is not the cheapest but the experience of unreliable services provided by other companies including lateness, cancellation of visits and no care provided at Christmas (with little notice) makes me realise you get what you pay for and Home Instead have helped out in these crisis situations.
