Supporting Our Community at Knowsley’s “Dementia Under One Roof” Event

This week, our Registered Manager Shauna and Deputy Care Manager Katie had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Knowsley Dementia Under One Roof event at Whiston Town Hall — a heart warming and inspiring day dedicated to raising awareness, sharing support, and bringing people together who are affected by dementia.

At the event, Shauna and Katie set up an inviting and informative table where attendees were encouraged to stop by, chat, and learn more about how we support those living with dementia, as well as their families and carers. It was a fantastic chance to connect with the local community, answer questions, and offer guidance and reassurance in a warm and welcoming setting.

The day was filled with meaningful conversations and shared experiences, highlighting just how important it is to have spaces like these where people can come together, feel heard, and know they are not alone. Events like this are crucial in building a more dementia-friendly community — something we are proud to be a part of.
