Our two-day training equips new Care Professionals with essential skills in Moving and Handling, Medication Management, and CPR.

At Home Instead Knowsley and Liverpool East, we ensure our Care Professionals are thoroughly prepared through a comprehensive two-day training program.

Day 1: Office Team and Brand Promises

On the first day, new hires carry out our ‘Welcome to Home Instead’ training day where they gather an understanding of what it’s like to work for Home Instead and learn about our core values:

Day 2: Hands-On Training

The second day focuses on practical skills essential for delivering quality care:

  • Moving and Handling: Training in safe techniques and equipment use to ensure the well-being of both Care Pros and clients.
  • Medication Management: Instruction on accurate and safe medication administration.
  • CPR Training: Essential life-saving skills to handle emergencies effectively.
