Celebrating Good Care Month

Good Care Month is a time to recognise the incredible difference that compassionate, person-centred care makes every day.
At Home Instead, we believe great care is about more than providing support with daily tasks. It’s about building trusted relationships, promoting independence and helping people continue living comfortably in the place they call home.
We’re proud of our dedicated Care Professionals, whose kindness, commitment and professionalism improve the lives of our clients and provide reassurance to their families. Whether it’s noticing a client is running low on food and arranging an additional visit to drop off some shopping, helping with a spot of gardening come rain or shine, or simply taking the time to sit and chat over a cup of tea, it’s often the little things that make the biggest difference.
Our team regularly goes above and beyond. Jackie, one of our Care Professionals and a trained hairdresser, helps clients look and feel their best with a fresh haircut, while Helen, our specialist Nail Care Professional, provides relaxing hand massages and nail care that not only promotes wellbeing but also boosts confidence. One Care Professional even carefully stitched the inside of a client’s clothing to prevent a seam from rubbing against their skin, making them much more comfortable. Throughout the year, our Care Professionals also enjoy celebrating special occasions, whether it’s delivering flowers and chocolates on Valentine’s Day or creating thoughtful moments that brighten someone’s day.
This Good Care Month, we thank our amazing team for the compassion, dedication and genuine care they show every day. Their commitment makes a lasting difference to the lives of our clients, their families and our local community.
