Barry Lambert - Director
Hi, my name is Barry.
I was born in Huyton and have spent most of my life living and working within Knowsley and Liverpool area.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Political Science, I began a 25 year career with one of the major high street banks. After the banking crisis I realised I no longer shared the values of the banking sector and decided it was time for a change of direction.
I wanted to use my commercial and managerial experience to make a difference to peoples lives. In particular, I was attracted by Home Instead's unique focus on companionship, having experienced at first hand the impact of loneliness and isolation amongst elderly people.
My role is to manage and grow the business, by building strong relationships within the local community with groups and individuals who have close links to the elderly.
I will personally ensure that my team deliver the highest standards of service, and put our clients' interests at the centre of everything we do.
Judith Bridson- Scheduler
Hi, I'm Jude.
I am the new scheduler at Home Instead Knowsley and Liverpool East. I have just moved back home to Liverpool after being in London for 14 years.
I have a degree in Social Work Studies and over the years I have worked with children, young people and other people with a variety of needs- learning and physical disabilities, as well as mental health issues.
I worked in London St George's allocating 600 staff and then moved to the Home Instead office in Wimbledon, however I wanted to move back home and I am so glad I came to Home Instead Knowsley and Liverpool East.
I can't wait to get to know all of our Clients and CAREGivers- I already feel like I have been part of this team for years.
I'm looking forward to spending more time with my family and starting new hobbies here in Liverpool.
We are so glad Judith chose to join us, she has made such a difference to our team.
Shauna Harty - Compliance and Training Coordinator
Hi, my name is Shauna.
I initially trained as a barber after leaving school, however I started at Home Instead over three years ago. I started as a CAREgiver and progressed to the position of Field Support Officer before I became the Deputy Care Manager and I am now the Compliance and Training Coordinator.
I have completed the NVQ Level Three in Health and Social Care and I am in the process of completing the NVQ Level Five in Care Management, so I am able to help clients in many different ways.
I enjoy working for Home Instead Senior Care because of their culture and values: it's so nice to have the personal touch. I had never worked in care before and am so grateful for this job as it gives me a real job satisfaction knowing our clients are receiving the best care in their later life. We really are changing the face of ageing."
I love meeting our clients, whether that is when I am completing a service review or when I am organising a package of care for their individual needs.
We are proud to have Shauna as part of our team and we look forward to seeing her progress in her career: we value everything she does.
