From Dental Nurse to Devoted Care Professional – A story of Care and Compassion
Renata’s compassionate care has built a special friendship with her client, showing how kindness, laughter, and companionship can brighten everyday life.
We recently spent some time with Renata and one of our clients, and it was lovely to see their friendship in action.
Our Care Professional Renata shared how her own journey led her to Home Instead:
“I was inspired to become a Care Professional after looking after my mum before she passed away. That experience showed me how important compassionate care is, and it made me want to support others the same way during difficult times.”
Before joining us, Renata spent 16 years as a dental nurse, but says nothing compares to the joy she feels in her current role:
“What I enjoy most is knowing I’m making a positive difference in someone’s life. I truly love my clients and want them to feel happy, comfortable, and cared for.
Building those relationships and seeing them smile means everything to me. I can honestly say this is the best job I’ve ever done!”
And it’s clear the difference is felt. Our client told us:
“As soon as she comes through the door, I feel happy. We natter and she just makes me feel so lovely.”
She went on to share how having Home Instead’s support has made life brighter:
“I like that I can continue going out, and I enjoy going out with her as I feel like I’m with someone I see as a close friend more than a carer. I have no family, so companionship is very important to me. It makes me feel less lonely.”
