This family business was founded on the dream of a Swiss boy with a passion for baking and confectionery in 1919 in Harrogate. Bettys is highly regarded across the area for it’s charm, quality, and attention to detail.

Located on The Grove, Bettys offers a variety of hot and cold breakfast options, so whether you’re in the mood for a traditional English breakfast, or something a little more continental. Bettys also offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Bettys Tea Rooms is spacious and offers a plenty of seating, however, due to its’ popularity, it often brings a crown and queue. The café located in the centre of Ilkley, with lots of ample parking, including the town’s main car park to the rear. This makes it a perfect starting point for any day trip into town.

Moss & Moor

The furnishings are comfortable, bright and natural, whilst having a very stylish restaurant feel. Billy Bob's Parlour

Just a short drive away, on the outskirts of Skipton, is an ice cream parlour with a 50s American diner. Located on Calm Slate Farm, you’ll see cows and sheep aplenty in the surrounding fields.

This 50s diner boasts a large menu, with breakfast available too, from a full English to pancake stacks and waffles, and hot drinks. Proudly local and independent, this diner makes the best use of quality ingredients from local suppliers.

This large, accessible venue even has an adult only section, so you can reminisce to 50s music in an American gas station themed dining room. Billy Bobs Parlour is sure to take you on a nostalgic journey, through all things 1950s – featuring an authentic Airstream, serving up hot drinks.

Unsurprisingly located on The Grove in Ilkley, this Kitchen & Bakehouse make their food by hand with local season ingredients, with a focus on happy food. The menu at 39 has its staples throughout the year, but also switches it up seasonally.

The café is well known for its friendly staff and wide menu selection. The team work quickly to make all their visitors feel welcome. The food is made fresh to order, with a particular emphasis on quality as well as quantity. It has quickly become hugely popular with the rest of the town.
