New campaign to combat ageism

Home Instead are proud to be supporting a new campaign, ‘Age Without Limits’ which aims to change the way we all think about ageing.

The campaign organisers, Centre for Better Ageing (a charity funded by The National Lottery Community Fund), say that ageism is the prejudice hidden in plain sight and that we are exposed to it every day.

The Age Without Limits movement is looking to challenge how we think and support the growing number of people and businesses (like ours) who are working to make society more age-inclusive.

They have found that 40% of people have never really thought about ageism. It’s time to change that!

You can even find out if you unwittingly hold ageist beliefs by taking their quiz – you can find the link here: https://www.agewithoutlimits.org/challenge
