Home Instead Annual Golf Day heads to the Midlands

We are busy preparing for our annual charity Golf Day (Friday June 2nd), sponsored this year by Vestd, which is run in support of Home Instead Charities UK.

Now in its third year, the competition is heading to the Midlands with the 2023 action taking place at the renowned Derby Course at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield.

Home Instead is the only home care company to have its own charity. It supports community groups to fund activities that support wellbeing or activities and programmes that reduce isolation and loneliness.

Home Instead Charities UK receives support from across our franchise network with local offices undertaking a range of fundraising activities across the year. The charity is also fortunate to receive grants and support from a range of corporate sponsors, such as Vestd and the Access Foundation.

The Golf Day, which is a four-ball format, is open to anyone to enter and the charity would be delighted to hear from any individuals or organisations wishing to enter a team.

We already have teams entered from our National Office, franchise offices as well as suppliers and business contacts, all keen to do their bit to raise funds for our charity.

Speaking about the golf day, the charity’s Executive Director Penny Hamer said, “This is a key date in our calendar. It’s an event we rely on to raise vital funds to support Home Instead Charities’ work in communities across the UK.

“A huge thank you to our headline sponsor Vestd and to everyone else who has entered teams or supported the Golf Day in other ways. It means a lot.”
