Home Instead UK makes the Health Investor Awards shortlist

The shortlist for the Health Investor Awards has been released, and we’re delighted to see Home Instead as a finalist, recognising our increasing focus on healthcare services intertwined with our quality home care.

Health Investor is a news and resource hub on all things healthcare business, and its prestigious annual awards celebrate innovation and success across the sector. Home Instead is in the shortlist for ‘Home Care Provider of the Year’ alongside three other companies.

The rise of our Healthcare at Home service has undoubtedly sparked the interest of the judges. Many of our Care Professionals are trained to deliver a range of clinical services to support clients with complex needs and long-term conditions, including dementia, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Enabling quick, safe and efficient hospital discharges for people who would otherwise have to continue receiving treatment in hospital, we are broadening our care services to help alleviate pressure on the NHS.

Our Care Professionals and their enthusiasm have been key to the successful expansion of our care services. With many keen to broaden their skillsets, we had 748 Care Professionals become specially trained in dementia care and 235 in end of life care in 2025 alone.

Ruth Brown, MD of Home Instead UK, says: “It’s an honour to be amongst the finalists of the Health Investor Awards, and it comes at a key time for the business. We’re increasingly engaging with the Government and other organisations in the health and care sector to broaden what social care can deliver and paving the way for home care to have a more prominent role within the wider healthcare system.

“I want to thank people across Home Instead UK, from Care Professionals, to franchise owners, to office teams, whose unwavering commitment has helped Home Instead earn its reputation as a quality home care company. Being shortlisted in the Health Investor Awards is an achievement shared by us all.

“Congratulations to all of the finalists and I look forward to hearing about the remarkable contribution you have made to the sector at the upcoming awards.”

The awards ceremony takes place in June at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. With an impressive shortlist of leading organisations across health and social care, the event is set to showcase the very best of the sector.

Wish us luck!
