Our companionship care is tailored to the individual, always. Some clients enjoy gentle conversation over coffee, while others might want help getting back out into the community. We’ve supported clients to take part in art therapy sessions, visit their old haunts in Hammersmith & Chiswick, or simply rediscover the joy of music and conversation. It’s about confidence, stimulation, and being seen, not just cared for. Many clients tell us they feel more themselves again, thanks to the warmth and familiarity of a regular, friendly presence who knows just how to lift their mood.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Our companionship care is often the part of a client’s day that brings the most joy with a familiar face, shared conversation, and a sense of normality. Helen, a client, put it simply in her review: “They are like my family.” Angela, a daughter of another client, praised the way our Care Professionals fit in so naturally, saying: “They have excellent communication with my dad and he had all kinds of support from the carers and they are there to suit his specific needs.” These relationships aren’t just helpful, they’re transformative, offering comfort and emotional wellbeing as much as practical support.

Our local team includes medically trained managers and professionals with deep roots in the community. That knowledge means we can spot the small changes others might miss, like signs of social withdrawal, early memory issues, or mood shifts. All our Care Professionals receive specialist training in emotional wellbeing, dementia awareness, and communication, and many complete additional workshops to continuously develop their skills. Regular check-ins and ongoing training ensure our team delivers not just good conversation, but meaningful companionship that supports overall wellbeing.
