It’s a proud moment for all of us here at Home Instead Gloucester and The Forest of Dean. We are thrilled to share that we are a 5-Star Employer Award winner! This recognition comes following an anonymous survey conducted by WorkBuzz, an independent expert in employee engagement. The results were overwhelming, earning us a prestigious ‘5-Star’ accreditation.

We’ve always believed that to provide the best home care for our clients, we must first be the best employer for our Care Professionals. When our team feels supported, valued, and confident, that positivity flows directly into the homes of the families we serve across Gloucester and the Forest of Dean.

The Standout Statistics

The survey results (part of the PEAQ (Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality) programme) gave us a 98% Care Professional advocacy score. Here is a closer look at what our team had to say:

  • 100% of our Care Professionals said they are proud to work for Home Instead.
  • 100% feel confident in their ability to meet our clients’ needs.
  • 100% feel it is clear what is expected of them, they are well matched to their clients and they are given enough time to deliver the desired levels of client care.
  • 100% feel they are valued by Home Instead and like they are part of a team.

It wasn’t just our staff who shared their feedback; our clients were surveyed too. We are humbled by the 100% satisfaction scores we received in several key areas:

  • 100% of clients feel we have an excellent understanding of their care needs.
  • 100% of clients agree that our office team ensures their safety and wellbeing.
  • 100% agree Home Instead adapts to any changes in their needs to continue providing effective care.
  • 100% say their Care Professionals make them feel safe when they visit.

One of our clients captured the heart of what we do perfectly when asked if they would change anything about our service: “Nothing I can think of you are my Home Instead family”.

Our Registered Care Manager, Lizzie Cooper, expressed her pride in our team: “I am delighted with the outstanding results from the recent PEAQ survey. The feedback clearly demonstrates the kindness, professionalism, and hard work of our Care Professionals, and it is very reassuring to see such positive experiences echoed by those in our care.”
