Day care at home means that a Care professional will work with you to develop a plan for activities that are personalised to you and enable you to live your life your way. Day care at Home Instead is tailored to your needs, whether that is through physical activities such as walking or reminiscence activities to stimulate your memories. It can also include rehabilitative sessions as recommended by other professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist your recovery. Plans change though so our Care professionals will adapt to how fit how your are feeling and your physical health each day.
What we do to care for your loved ones
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

We have been struck by the respect and warmth of all the carers who look after Dad. They support his daily medication regime, bulk cook his favourite meals, and ensure his hygiene levels are maintained, regularly laundering his clothing and bedding. But perhaps, more importantly, each and every one of the many faces Dad sees treats him with respect and listens attentively to his stories, most of which they will have heard before.
